It snowed all through my morning classes into lunch today. And what was crazy were the petals - wait, flakes seemed to have absolutely no direction, and kept ramming into each other, blowing around on the little breeze until they hit the ground and melted. And watching the little flakes be blown around against each other kinda reminded me how my emotions have felt so scrambled lately. being tossed and flung around inside my mind and soul, neither dominating, just a whole bunch of confusion.
Like.. what used to bring me such joy, now seems a burden. Since I pulled my shoulder/back in high jump a week ago, I've lost my desire to be the best it seems. It was a cold reality check that I could get hurt and not be able to play volleyball again. But it was feeling alright friday so I jumped and got second. Didn't jump very high, but it was alright for being injured... And now it's starting to hurt again, so I'm hoping that maybe just some rest tomorrow and I'll get my 5'2" on saturday.
Oh Saturday. I've longed for you for quite a while. And now that your nearly here, I'm feeling anxious, hopeful, nervous, excited, happy, and slightly frightened all at once. See what I mean about being confused as to what feeling is in control? Although, I guess it's good that there's an even balance. I just wish they'd stop fighting.
